Verint® recognizes that information is a highly valuable asset, and we are committed to protecting Verint company information, as well as information associated with our customers, partners, vendors, and others with whom we do business, from intentional or unintentional misuse.
We are guided by information security professionals for achieving this mission.
Verint has established an executive Information Security Committee to define the principles and means by which we secure information assets. Additionally, our staff includes security professionals highly experienced in information risk management, with certifications that include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Management (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
We utilize effective security controls and a robust security infrastructure.
Verint has established effective information security controls, which we thoroughly test and review on an ongoing basis. Our information security infrastructure includes:
Information Security Management System. We have established an Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2005 to manage, monitor, and minimize information security risks.
Strict Access Controls. Access to information under Verint’s control is defined on a “need to know” and “least privilege” basis.
Global User Education. We utilize global awareness campaigns to educate Verint employees worldwide about their responsibilities to protect information.
Third-Party Compliance. We recognize that third parties with whom we do business are likely to have access to proprietary or confidential information, and we require them to comply with Verint’s information security directives.
Integration with Verint Business Processes. We consider information security an important component of Verint business processes and key to our ability to control risk.
Technology Solutions. We use industry-recognized technology solutions, including network solutions and end-point protection, and we support these solutions 24x7. Our network, IT infrastructure, gateways, and computers provide ongoing protection against threats to information, and we have established policies to govern their proper management. Additionally, our systems feature built-in redundancy to help ensure that information is not damaged or lost.

Verint is committed to continually improving our information security efforts in compliance with globally accepted standards. Our Israel office completed a successful ISO/IEC 27001:2005 audit with certification soon expected, and we continue to work toward global certification during 2010.
