X-TRACT® data analytics provide analysts and investigators with an array of tools for making the most of structured and unstructured data from a wide array of information sources. X-TRACT offers a broad range of integrated analytical engines in a single solution, enabling information to be assessed from many different perspectives. Additionally, the results of one X-TRACT analysis can easily become the input for another X-TRACT analytic application, generating more comprehensive and accurate intelligence.

X-TRACT features an array of integrated analytic tools to help law enforcement, national security, and intelligence agencies make sense of the vast volumes of data they capture from virtually any number of information sources.

Alert Management for rapid, policy-based alert scoring, handling, and distribution
Dynamic Investigation Pages, a workstation Web-based user interface that dynamically displays all relevant data and analyses in a unified view, including hyperlinks to linked files and pages — a valuable investigative tool that saves time and promotes more successful results
Link Analysis, which displays links between entities (persons, events, cases, targets, participants etc.), revealing hidden associations between seemingly unrelated entities, with an intuitive presentation of organizational structures, hierarchies and timelines
Location Analysis, which includes dedicated geographical tools to analyze, manage, and extract intelligence from raw location data, such as specialized location rules and alerts
Mass Link Analysis, which includes complex algorithms that run on billions of records in real time and can support hundreds of millions of records per day
Unstructured Data Analysis, which converts vast amounts of unstructured data, such as documents, handwritten reports and free Web text, into structured data for analysis and includes the following tools:
- Entity extraction – automatic identification of entities such as bank accounts
- Advanced text searches
- Result clustering – categorizes results according to common words such as Terror Al Qaeda, Terror London Underground
- Naming Translation – automatically identifies multiple spelling as the same entity, such as Jo and Joe
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

Federated Search and Query, which enables users to search for any textual information that resides within the system database, including the ability to simultaneously query multiple databases in a single query, and displays results by relevance (available in several languages)
Statistical Analysis to help generate text or graphic reports with entity-related statistical information, including:
- Major data categories and the number of records for each category
- The number of vehicles, licenses and population registry
- The most common event types in each database and the number of records for each event
